Statement of Belief
United States Christian Chamber of Commerce – Minnesota The USCCC‐MN is an independent affiliate of the United States Christian Chamber of Commerce and is under the Spiritual direction and ministry of The House Church of Burnsville, MN; which embraces the following statements concerning the truth.
This Statement of Fundamental Truths is intended simply as a basis of fellowship among us. Because of our intended inter‐denominational partnership in the gospel, these statements serve only as a minimal basis for fellowship and do not reflect the full belief system that individual pastors and members of The USCCC‐MN maintain.
•
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
•
We accepts the Bible, canonized as the 66 books making up the Old Testament and the New Testament, as the Word of God and as His revealed will, the all‐sufficient rule for faith, doctrine and practice. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God. Holy men of God wrote under the guidance, influence and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
•
We believe there is one living and true God existing in three persons; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit ‐ equal in power and glory.
•
We believe Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit.
•
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future personal return in power and glory.
•
We believe in Jesus' virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and His future personal and visible return to earth.
•
We believe God the Father is perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of His people. We believe he hears and answers prayers and He saves from sin and death all that come to Him through Jesus Christ.
•
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
•
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who both indwells and baptizes the believer enabling them to live a Godly life, empowered to do the "greater works" that Jesus said we would do. We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who, in faith, ask for it.
•
We believe in a final judgment at the end of the age when all the dead shall be resurrected to stand before Him; for those that are saved ‐ the resurrection to life and the rewards of the righteous, the blessings of living eternally in the presence of God. For those that are lost ‐ the resurrection of the wicked to damnation.
•
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, and will do all to work toward a greater expression of that unity.
•
We believe the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.
•
We believe all people are sinners by nature and choice and are therefore under condemnation, and that God renews by the Holy Spirit those who repent for their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.
•
We believe Jesus Christ baptizes the believer with the Holy Spirit and empowers them for service.
•
We believe that the New Testament church in the book of Acts is the normal function of the body of Christ and therefore by faith we operate in the fullness of what the Holy Spirit has given us. We do not believe that any of the supernatural gifts have passed away. And therefore we desire them earnestly and use them according to the biblical pattern. Doctrinal Beliefs
•
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error.
